Azura Ladies Uganda

Welcome

Unemployment remains a significant challenge for women in Uganda. Despite earning degrees and diplomas from various institutions, many young women struggle to secure meaningful employment. Due to limited access to practical skills, mentorship, and industry connections, they often settle for low-paying or degrading jobs that do not align with their qualifications or aspirations.

This issue extends to the ICT sector, where female graduates face additional barriers, including gender discrimination, limited job opportunities, and societal biases that discourage women from pursuing careers in technology. As a result, many talented women are either excluded from the industry or forced to abandon their career ambitions.
